How we work
We have put service and communication at the heart of our business. One of the most frustrating experiences for providers and clients alike is the failure to communicate the progress of a case. Breakdowns in communication lead to unhappy customers and complaints. We minimise this by tracking every case to ensure strong service standards are maintained. In One Move is always on hand to step forward and trouble-shoot any problems that may arise.
The performance of individual panel members is monitored so you can have confidence in the recommendations you are making. All fees are regularly monitored and set at competitive levels. All quotes include the fees and charges up-front to aid transparency. There are no hidden costs.
Reporting to you
The progress of each transaction can be monitored through the referral platform once the solicitor has been instructed. Regular reports will be made available to you providing updates on all cases from application through to completion.Contact us

Specialist mortgage brokers
In One Move works closely with selected mortgage brokers to ensure they are conversant with the full range of affordable housing schemes and have the capacity to provide the level of service we demand. Comprehensive reporting systems are in place which can be tailored to provider’s specific requirements. Preferred mortgage brokers can be added to the panel, subject to them signing our service level agreement. Referring clients is as simple as clicking onto our website and completing a basic form.
Independent Affordability Assessments
As recommended in the Capital Funding Guide we ensure independent affordability assessments are undertaken by qualified advisers and copies made available to the sales support staff to aid decision making and provide an audit trail.
Best range of products for your buyers
Importantly for your buyers we ensure a range of competitive mortgage products are available to our panel brokers. We do this by working directly with lenders. These can include high loan to value offerings e.g. 95% mortgages which have often been negotiated exclusively. They are not available to purchasers when they approach lenders directly.Contact us

Roy HindRoy worked for housing associations at a senior management level for over twenty years and has extensive product knowledge across the shared ownership sector. Throughout his career he has developed innovative new housing options including near market rent (1997), shared equity and HomeBuy Agency. During his time at Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association (BPHA) he helped over 5,000 families into home ownership. Roy is a former member of the Intermediate Market Advisory Group which helped shape the National Housing Federations policy on intermediate housing. Roy frequently speaks at national conferences on marketing, emerging products and lender relationships resulting in new lenders entering the market and bespoke products. With a background in conveyancing Roy is ideally placed to provide solicitors and mortgage brokers to housing associations and ensure compliance, services levels and regular communication.
Randal Smith, Director, Strategy and OperationsRandal brings to In One Move local government experience where he was head of strategy working with, amongst others, housing teams to deliver on objectives set. He has been running the In One Move operations ensuring that it is smooth and meets the needs of all stakeholders including the clients, solicitors and providers.
